Why an ATM?

Think about this…

Did you know that over 70% of all banking is done through privately-
owned ATMs?

People do not go to banks the way they used to – they look for
retail locations that have ATMs inside.

What this means to business owners, is that they need to provide a
way for customers to get cash. In return, the business owner that
has an ATM in their store will see an increase in customer traffic,
additional revenues, and reductions in operating costs.

Many of the business owners we work with decided to get ATMs for the
following reasons:

1. They need ways to reduce credit card processing fees
Our customers are able to reduce their credit card processing fees
by an average of 25%. By offering ATM services, you will have more
customers paying you with cash instead of credit, so you will have fewer credit card transactions.

2. They need ways to accept credit cards
Everyone seems to want to pay by using plastic nowadays. But if you
have a credit card terminal, you’re stuck paying all those
processing fees.

With an ATM – there are no processing fees. Plus – the ATM accepts
all credit, debit and check cards. You don’t need a credit card
terminal if you have an ATM!

3. They need to stop losing customers
If a business doesn’t have a way to accept plastic, customers will
leave to find a place that does. This is because customers today
expect good service and they expect you to have an ATM.

4. They want to earn more revenue
In addition to earning revenue on every transaction, having an ATM
encourages your customers to spend more cash in your business.

In a recent study, 7-11 found that ATM users spend 25% more than
non-ATM users.

So if your average non-ATM customer spends $10 – your ATM customers
will spend $2.50 more, or $12.50. If you had 10 people use the ATM
every day, that would be an extra $25 spent in your store every day,
OR an extra $750 per month.

Is having an ATM starting to sound like a pretty good idea?
